Lead Kindness Hero Khora Police

Since the incipient of lockdown, the police force is not only maintaining public order and social distancing but is also reaching out to people to provide the necessary products and services. Recently one such story came into the light of Khora police station. The police there helped a family to carry out the cremation services of their deceased family member.

Sanjay Thakur from the Ballia district arrived Hayat Nagar Khora for the treatment of his wife Geeta Devi. Geeta was diagnosed with cancer 8 months back. On Sunday, Geet took her last breath. It was a sudden death. Sanjay was with his daughter Amrita and brother Pankaj. In a lockdown, no transport medium was available to take the corpse for the cremation.

When Sandeep Singh, the police inspector of Khora police station gets to know about this, he arranged a PCR for this work. Police and Sanjay performed all the rituals in the crematory of Ghazipur.
